Cruise Performance Tables
(CE560XL / XLS)
Software Application for the BlackBerry
The use of this tool and its user interface are pretty self explanatory, just a couple of simple points:
- Altitude may be entered as a FL (3 digits between 100 and 450) or an altitude (5 digits between 10,000 & 45,000).
- Tailwind component is optional. The cruise tables display Groundspeed (GS), and if 0 tailwind is entered, or none at all, the displayed GS is equivalent to TAS.
- For now, this application is best viewed using the BBMillbank font, size 10 bold, or smaller.
Planned future upgrades:
- "Memory registers" - The ability to save off multiple scenarios (combination of weight, altitude & temperature), and rapidly compare the cruise performance data for each one without having to re-enter the inputs. Useful for doing "what-if" planning, or evaluating different altitudes & power settings.
- KIAS data
