About the photos and the guy with the camera:

I'm a runner with a new-found interest in photography.  My purpose for taking these pictures was primarily to try out the new camera, and experiment with techniques in shooting moving subjects.  In addition to the predictably uninspiring results of a relative novice, I was surprised to also find some pretty good shots.  Hence this web page.  But since I'm not a professional and was not contracted to do this, you'll find that a) I didn't get a picture of everyone (sorry!), and b) the pictures I did get are somewhat "variable" in quality :-)  So I'm not charging for the pictures.  I am however, not above asking for donations if you like what you see!  (I do have some time invested in organizing the photos).  Enjoy...
